Advertising Policies

- At International Healthcare Media, LLC (IHM), our objective and mission is to offer the most up-to-date, precise, and dependable healthcare information online. Our funding comes from advertisements and sponsorships.
- We do not support any products, services, or companies: IHM has not assessed the products and services advertised on our site. The mere presence of specific products and services on our site does not indicate our endorsement of them.
- Special Sections: Our site may feature special sections (e.g., Topic Centers) or additional microsites. These areas may contain independent editorial content created or selected by IHM that is funded by advertisers. Other content on our site may be provided by or on behalf of advertisers. To indicate an advertiser's involvement, such sections will usually be labeled as "Sponsored by" an advertiser at the top of the page. Occasionally, we may use alternative labels, such as "Brought to You by," "Made Possible by," or "Support Provided by" the advertiser.
- Advertising Restrictions: IHM has complete discretion in determining the types of advertising that will be accepted and displayed on our network of websites. Acceptance of any advertisement by IHM should not be construed as our endorsement of the advertised product(s) and/or service(s) or the company that manufactures, distributes, or promotes them. We will not accept advertising that, in our opinion, is factually inaccurate or in poor taste. Advertisers are prohibited from placing any advertising that:
- Contains false, deceptive, or misleading claims
- Promotes products that are illegal or whose distribution would violate the law
- Promotes the sale of fireworks, firearms, ammunition, or weapons designed to inflict serious bodily harm
- Promotes betting or gambling
- Promotes pornography
- We also do not accept advertising that promotes alcohol or tobacco products. However, we may accept promotions for educational campaigns, such as smoking cessation and responsible drinking messages, that align with genuine efforts to educate consumers
